Maybe the bus drivers wanted another day off.
What other reason could cause the Charleston County School District to cancel school for students on a day when quite obviously all danger of icy roads had passed? They didn't believe the weather report?
Please find me a picture taken Wednesday morning of an icy roadway or icy driveway to a school. Not likely.
Clearly, the decision makers made a mistake for Tuesday morning road conditions, but closing schools the next day when everything has melted looks like hysteria.
Really.

I think you got your Tuesdays and Wednesdays mixed up. Today (the day with no school) is Tuesday. CCSD has not canceled school for Wednesday, January 10.
