If the CCSD Board Thinks We're Ticked Off Now. . .

Congratulations to the Charleston County School Board and its foremost employee, Superintendent Nancy McGinley.

They have now managed to alienate virtually everyone who lives on the peninsula, whether they have children in its "seismically deficient" schools or not. [See Board Votes to Move Students]

But wait.

Wait until they raise taxes to pay for it.

McGinley must think we're all a bunch of dumb cows that can be easily led in whatever direction that catches her fancy. Unfortunately, she's right.

Since when did she ever seriously consider what the community wants?

When Nancy McGinley finally leaves for better pastures, and if there is a God, she will move on, we'll be left with no public school system. If any neighborhood schools are left, they won't be worth a damn.

Who's checking the facts this witch is feeding the board? OK, our county school board is just a rubber stamp. They mindlessly support the super...no matter how many lies she spits out from literacy programs to engineering issues. Anyone notice how many millions she and Bill Lewis have put into buildings she's planning to demolish over the next 5 years?

Yes, it's just OPM...other people's money.
